Parlay is an Irwin 52. Built in Florida, USA, 1990. Tony Clemenger, a new member, purchased this boat for his young family. It is vital we understand the elements. The digital age enables a global village, but if humans are incapable of living within their local elements, nature, with respect, and responsibly, then we will all lose.

Parlay has spent the last dozen plus years enjoying the Orient, but too much fun is not allowed: we are Victorian. So this recent acquisition has been relocated to RMYS to help us understand the water, the wind, and technology – the boat is equipped with the most modern sailing aids. I think the bay is one of Melbourne’s hidden treasures and that Parlay will help us find Lasseter’s reef (if anyone can help us achieve this – you are more than welcome aboard… [Lucy, my wife, Amelia and Hugh, our children, are aboard and keen to dig deep (maybe we will bump into Poseidon along the way = CHEERS].
