Description: Shaped silver bowl 145mm high to lip with large shaped footing. Wheat ear, leaf and grape decorations around lip of bowl about 25mm deep. Bowl stands on 75mm high round Rosewood base with shaped footing. Silver winners’ inscription shields attached around diameter.

History:

Harry Anderson was a well-liked and respected member of the Club who took a keen interest in B and C Class racing. On his death, May 1960, his yacht was sold and this trophy purchased out of the sale.

It was originally presented for B and C Class Highest Aggregate Points and first won, Season 1962-63, by Ken Novitts with “Saraband”.

Now contested and provided for by Third Division for Aggregate Points over the Season’s racing using the best 9 results out of 12 events, decided by the Sailing Committee on V.Y.C handicap.
