Sunday Junior Sailing Debrief from 6 March

Thank you to all those who attended RMYS on Sunday. Unfortunately, we seem to be lucking out with the weather now, with it blowing at 22 knots and gusting at 26 with predictions to get stronger.

For those new to our group, 21 knots is the limit by which we decide not to sail. Yes, we consider reefing sails, and our sailors are well talented; however, we do have to draw the line from a safety perspective.

So, unfortunately, this week, no funny stories to tell, no opportunity for bad boat driving, no poor mark laying, no bad dad joke-telling, no charcoal sausages, and most disappointingly, no chance to get out on the water.

Kind Regards,

Graeme Savage
