An update from Commodore: Building planning permit application
Last Thursday evening City of Port Phillip Councillors approved our application along with recommended changes and conditions from the City of Port Phillip Town Planning Dept.
Councillors, however, did reject one of the City of Port Phillip Town Planning Dept conditions, which was the reduction in the length of the rooftop structure by 7.5 metres in length. Therefore, the structure remains the same size as submitted in our application.
The next step is 21 day period where objectors can lodge a VCAT objection to the council’s approval of the Planning Permit. We wait with bated breath!

25+ vessels participated in the sail past, with the officials taking the salute from the stern of Margaret Pearl, a luxuriously fitted out 57 foot ex trawler gratefully donated on the day by member Jim Woods.

We have had more incidents of dogs loose on the Marina, and unfortunately more incidents of owners not cleaning up after their dogs.
If you bring your dog to the Marina:
- It must be on a lead
- It cannot be left to roam. It must be either on your vessel or tied up on the finger
- When leaving, all owners must inspect the Arm and Fingers and clean up any mess
Please be considerate of other users of the Marina.

The ducklings are here and so is spring
Thank you Roger Dundas for sending us this super cute photo of the ducks from the marina.

With the recent warm weather and daylight savings in effect, spring is here.

The birds chirping (and swooping) and these little ducklings are welcomed signs!
