This week, Xit Strategy won Div 1 and Revenge won Div 2 and a double rainbow visited. Unfortunately, Saturday's race was abandoned due to a gale warning. Read more in the racing news for last week.

Volunteer Feedback Session - This Saturday, 23 July 1000 hrs

Volunteer Feedback
On Water Volunteers are welcomed to join us at the Squadron for a Volunteer Feedback Session.

The session is led by Jason McCutcheon and will review the results of the recent survey and give our valued volunteers an opportunity to tell us how we can make their work more enjoyable and efficient.

Safety Certificates are EXPIRED as of 30 June

Safety Audit
If you still haven't submitted your forms, you must do so to remain in our racing fleet.

All certificates need to be sent to boating@rmys.com.au to receive an external auditor.

First Aid & CPR - Sunday, 7 August 2022

First Aid
Our First Aid and CPR course are accredited and very important, both on and off the water. This course is free to eligible volunteers, contact boating to check your eligibility.

The course is running on Sunday, 7 August from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs. It covers both First Aid and CPR.

Members pay $120, non-members $150.

Man Overboard Lecture - Saturday 30 July 0900 hrs

MOB Course
The MOB lecture or practice is compulsory for all skippers from the start of summer and recommended for everyone.

The free lecture will take place on Saturday, 30 July 2022, at 0900 hrs Register below.

More than toys, these beautiful Radio Controlled Yachts are an excellent way to get a feel for the wind and learn more about sailing from the comforts of the shore.

Our Training Manager, Grant Seamer, is looking to get in touch with those who own RC yachts and those that want to learn.

In order to serve our Saturday racers better, we are now opening the Olympic Bar a half hour earlier. Please visit the bar before the race to get your sandwiches or toasties, either heated up or ready to go onto your boat.

Recycle your PFDs at the RMYS Office to turn them into bags with Life Bags

Life Bags
Our very own Chris Harve is doing his bit to help the planet by recycling your PFDs into bags. The bags are sold and profits are donated to Volunteer Marine Rescue. This circular system is a great idea to help the planet and those who rescue us out on the water!

Drop off your obsolete PFDs at the office.
