Disposal of Hazardous Materials

hazchem
Unfortunately, RMYS cannot dispose of hazardous materials, including flares, fire extinguishers, waste chemicals and liquids, oil and fuel, and empty gas bottles.

A number of these items have recently been dumped in the bin area of the yard, creating a dangerous situation for members and the facilities.

Please dispose of such waste properly, and do not leave them around the Club to become someone else’s problem.

Junior Update: Lady Stonehaven & a thank you to volunteers

Junior Update
Junior Squad Racing was cancelled again due to strong weather warnings and a NE blowing off point Ormond that was above 23 knots, which is our cut-off point for safety reasons.

That being said, the wind further North wasn’t so strong, so we ran two internal races, and they made for some fantastic racing. Great sailing by all.
