Highlights 📌

Calling an ambulance

Ambulane
Recently a crew member on a boat participating in an RMYS race became seriously ill. The boat withdrew from the race and headed back to St Kilda.

The crew member is now well but the incident prompts a reminder regarding ambulance communication:

It is difficult and at times dangerous to the injured person to be relaying information through the office or someone on shore. It is always desirable for someone with the ill or injured person to be talking with medical assistance.
