COVID Checking Marshal
As government legislation requires checking of every person (members and non-members) each time they enter the building, a COVID checking Marshal is required while the bar is open.
When it last met, General Committee discussed the options regarding filling this role and decided asking for member volunteers is really the only practical way. This requirement is likely to continue into next year and paying for the service is not feasible.
A COVID Marshal is required while the Olympic bar is open, these hours are on the website.
Can you please assist and act as COVID Checking Marshal, it would be great to have enough to allow 2 – 3 hour shifts or even less. Your only tasks are to ensure people scan the QR code and check their proof of vaccination. I would also be delighted if a member(s) offered to co-ordinate a roster.
Please advise by email if you can assist.
