Past Commodore Ted Montfort passed away last Thursday – 20/02/2020.
Ted joined what was Royal St Kilda Yacht Club in 1952 and was commodore 1977 – 1979.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with Ted’s family and the many friends he had at RMYS.
The funeral is at W D Rose Chapel, 139 Marriage Road, Brighton at 2.30pm this Thursday 27th February

This vessel was located on the beach a short distance from our marina yesterday morning, Monday 24th February. Any assistance in tracking down an owner would be appreciated. Obviously anyone who believes it belongs to them will have to provide some sort of proof of ownership such as a photo, or identify objects found inside the bottom of the boat.

The annual ‘Flinders Cup’ Cruise event is coming up this Labour Day weekend, 7, 8 & 9 March, 2020. The flotilla of RMYS yachts will gather early in the morning of Saturday the 7th of March at Queenscliff, prior to heading east to Flinders Yacht Club, Western Port.

This is a great event for both the novice, and the old salts of the sea.
FYC will supply their customary hospitality with a Dinner and lunch at $70pp.
