New Boats to the Marina

Mistral IX: Cole Classic Day Racer, Berth E29
Welcome a new classic to our fleet. Mistral IX was built by Max Crease (well known Hobart shipwright) at his Battery Point yard (Hobart) for a chandler Guy Rex (of RR Rex and Sons).
She was launched on Thursday 13th October 1966.
Four boats were built, the first being Theme for Peter Cole (sailmaker who later turned his hand to yacht design) to a design by Peter Cole and American yacht designer Bill Luders.

Dunrowan: Beneteau Oceanis 350, Berth D26
I purchased Dunrowan at the start of the year, I have completely re-fitted her inside and out modernizing her but still keeping a classic feel. She sails great (we know this as we sailed her down from Pittwater where she lived there all her life from the previous owner. I have lots of footage and photos which I can show when we arrive to any that’s interested in the process. We’re in the final stages of finishing the details and then looking forward to general maintenance and lots of sailing!
Excited to be a part of the club!

Chapparal: 350 Cruiser: Berth D21
Lisa and myself purchased this boat after spending over 18 months looking for a special Cruiser to enjoy on the Bay and especially the Club’s Marina facilities, as we only live across the road!
