Live piano played before racing on Wednesday

Live Piano
Our own talented member, Ashley Shoup will be playing the piano before racing on Wednesday.

As well as live music, we also have new menu items at new prices served from 1200 hrs. Come down to the club, racing or not to enjoy beautiful music and food.

GenOA is hosting Christmas in July for all members!

Beat the winter blues with some fun on Friday, 29 July from 1800 hrs.

There will be an ugly jumper contest, a special grapefruit gin fizz for $10. It's also New Members' Night. Dinner will be served from 1800 hrs.

Knot tying night with Sam Cowell - Fri, 12 Aug at 1830 hrs

Rope Tying with Sam Cowell
Sam Cowell will be teaching and refreshing our knowledge of bowlines, two half hitches and figure eights!

The evening will feature a meal (menu available closer to) and drinks as well as an opportunity to improve your knots with friends.

You'll have to bring your own rope, a minimum of 3 metres long.

Damo's trivia night returns - Friday 9 September at 1900 hrs

Damo's Trivia
Damo's popular trivia night is returning on 9 September.

Tickets to this event are $15 and will raise funds to the Junior Squad.

Rocks in the marina entrance

Marina Rocks
Divers have identified two rocks at the Marina Entrance. They have been marked by buoys and the UTM coordinates recorded. To avoid obstructions until they are removed, all vessels should leave and enter the marina close to the Eastern (attenuator) side.

During the party hosted by GenOA the Olympic Bar staff will be serving grapefruit gin fizz. A special cocktail made just for members.

First Aid & CPR - Sunday, 7 August 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs

First Aid
Our First Aid and CPR course are accredited and very important, both on and off the water. This course is free to eligible volunteers. Contact boating to check your eligibility.

The course is running on Sunday, 7 August from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs. It covers both First Aid and CPR.

Members pay $120, non-members $150.

More than toys, these beautiful Radio Controlled Yachts are an excellent way to get a feel for the wind and learn more about sailing from the comforts of shore.
