Thanks to all of you who have filled in our recent survey in relation to helping define the detailed brief for Muir Architects so they can start work on developing concepts for the clubhouse upgrade. 219 members responded, which is a very high response level (116 full, 83 sailing, 20 other ).

Allicia Rae has resigned and her last day as Sailing Co-ordinator will be Saturday June 29th. Allicia has been at RMYS for two years in her second time in the role and has made a valuable contribution to the operation of the sailing programme. Thank you Allicia for your experience and passion as Sailing Co-ordinator and best wishes in your new role at RYCV.

New safety declaration forms can be downloaded here.Safety category stickers may not arrive until later in the year when Australian Sailing send them out to clubs. Racing Report - Week Ending Sunday 16 June

It's been a quiet week on the racing front, with both RMYS races being cancelled this week. Wednesday's race was abandoned due to inclement weather and Saturday's was cancelled due to a lack of wind. 'Rockpoolia' - Local Author donates signed copy of her children's book to RMYS

Recently local Author and Illustrator Jill-Louise Dawson popped into the club asking about Kayak storage as she plans to go and explore the seabed to check out the seahorse populations. Jill is passionate about the environment and the impact plastic and waste has on our local marine life and seahorse populations within Port Phillip Bay.
