Mariners are advised that the already closed outer section of the St Kilda Pier Inner Low Landing, at approximate location 37° 51.864’S, 144° 58.165’E (WGS84), has failed due to storm damage.
|
Floating and submerged hazards may be present in the area.
|
|
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of St Kilda Pier.
|
|

Important Safety Alert: Carbon Monoxide Poisoning on Vessels
|
|
|
Maritime Safety Victoria has circulated a safety alert regarding Carbon Monoxide on boats.
|
|
We ask all Members to read the alert below and be aware of possible symptoms and most importantly the best ways to avoid exposure especially with the current weather and the use of onboard heating/cooking etc.
|
|
|
|
|

Ferry Service to Swing Moorings
|
|
|
|
Ferry service to swing moorings will operate each Wednesday commencing midday. The boat will leave from the public landing outside the main marina gate.
|
Please communicate with Andre on channel 72.

The Flying Dutchman Otto Meik Trophy returns to RMYS!
|
|
|
Due to the generosity of former member Martin Bryan, the Otto Meik trophy for the then Olympic class Flying Dutchman has returned to RMYS.
|
|
Martin, of Metung, was a member of the Squadron in the early 1970s. Recently the trophy was unearthed in a storage chest, and Martin decided it should be at RMYS.
|
|
