Marina and Mooring Security

We have seen several Security incidents in both the Marina and Swing Moorings. At least two vessels, one on C Arm and another on a swing mooring have had squatters aboard, and in one case caused significant damage. Can all owners please check their boats and advise us of similar issues. All Members should remember to:
  • Lock your vessel
  • For those with tenders stored in the Marina, ensure they are locked/chained
  • Do not open gates for anyone unless you know who they are
  • Be aware of people “ghosting” through gates behind you
Any such incidents of squatters on vessels should be reported to the Police as well as to RMYS. Please contact Damien or Reagan with any questions or issues.
