Dear Members, It’s great to be sailing and sharing a meal and a drink with our members. Opening Day last Saturday provided the General Committee the chance to listen to members and share information in person. This year Opening Day was a little different from the usual as the weather prevented us from the traditional sail past.

Gai Clough
|
|
|
Past Commodore Gai Clough passed away on Sunday after courageously battling illness for some time. Gai joined Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron in 1985 and in 1997 became the Squadron’s first female commodore.
|
|
|
|
|
This past Saturday, RMYS celebrated our annual Open Day. Together with our Commodore, Greg Marino, and Council Member, Andrew Bond, it was a wonderful afternoon to come together and celebrate the opening of the RMYS 2020/21 Sailing Season.
