RMYS Virtual Sailing 29th Sept
Regatta RMYS Series 3: Week 3
Wednesday: The biggest fleet yet took to the water. 16 boats did 4 races in 20+ knts of breeze which allowed the Offshore Racer to final show what it can do. There was a good mixed bag of winners this week which is great to see and the new comers are starting to show some form
Saturday: A good breeze allowed the fleet sailing the 49er to have so fun and really get them up to top speeds . 14 soles to to the course this week to test their skills. Although the usual names where in the top 3 places a few new names also appeared, Rollercoaster (john Taylor) taking out his first 1st place in race 4 is one notable performance
Sorry no video this week
COVID Club Challenge 2. The finals where run and it was tight racing but over the 3 racers HBYC ended up being the over club winner, so that means its one each for RMYS and HBYC. What will series 3 bring.

This raced kicked off last week and again we have a good representation from RMYS, including me, but a lack of experience and forgetting I was racing means I’m at the back of the fleet. However Greg Patten and Andrew Fisk are doing well, 2nd and 5th respectively (at 0748 29/9/20). You can keep an eye on the fleet at http://www.sailonline.org/breezy/run/1386/
