To let people know that you are free to sail or have a spot on your boat fill in the Crew or Boat Profile the set Engaged to yes

Sail Numbers: there are still a number of boats whos sail numbers are not of a contrasting color. The RO and team will be advising me of who these are and I will contact them directly. Please if you numbers are not contrasting we ask you to get them altered.
Proposed new race: Last chance to have you say on a potential new race. We are looking at either Wednesday or Tuesday afternoon. It will be a white sail pursuit race casual race. Please use the link below to register your interest.
Wednesday – Due to a very unattractive radar and forecast we had to make the call to abandon racing.
Saturday – Another great fleet of 25 boats. With the perfect weather of 5 -10 knots a course was set that saw all vessels get round with time to spare.
NB: Due to a glitch with our race process system some of the handicaps were out of whack. We have updated this and re run the results with the correct handicaps for. This has made a few changes to the WT Crosbie and Bert Watts results which are now posted online.
Wednesday 18th – Twilight Race. Pursuit White Sails 1800hrs
Saturday 21st – Cactus Cup Race. Tower Start, Combined/Squadron 1400hrs
Sunday 22nd – Squadron Sunday Sail, Tower start, Pursuit from 1030
Given the forecast for strong winds they had a short session on the pond.
With winds averaging 18 knots with occasional gust up to 23 the squad did exceptionally well in keeping their Quests upright and did an excellent job mastering the wind in tricky conditions having a very competitive session.
Lighter winds forecast for next Sunday so looking forward to getting out of the harbour.
Best of luck to the senior members of the squad who are continuing with their VCE exams this week.
There are still a number of spots on upcoming races that we need to cover. The boat roster will be reintroduced over the next week and we look forward to welcoming you to the tower and eventual onto the water as part of the race committee. Skipper will be email directly with the roster.
