Boat Duty Roster 17/07/21 – Tower Revenge
  21/07/21 – Tower No Man’s Land
Officer of the Day 17/07/21 Bob Galbally
  24/07/21 Charles Meredith

Safety Equipment Declaration: New forms now due

Final reminder – Many forms are still outstanding. Please get these into Colin so you can continue to race.

SailPass Crew Sign On/Declarations:
Please be aware that a SailPass member can now only be allocated to a crew list once a SailPass has been purchased. They will not be visible in the directory until payment has been received.

Skippers: If you have a SailPass member listed on your Previous crew list (SailPass members all have Membership Number starting with 800) and they do not have an active SailPass for the race then you will get an error message of “Crew members membership is not valid”. You will need to ask them to purchase the SailPass via the MemberPoint app and then they will be active and can be added to your crew list.
If it’s someone new (first time using MemberPoint) then they can only be found via the directory search once they have purchased a SailPass. They will become visible 48 hrs prior to the SailPass date purchased. Eg: A SailPass purchased for a Wednesday race can be added to crew list from Monday.

ORCc Handicap:
We are still looking for boats to get on board with this. It is getting traction around the bay and we would like to see how it may work for RMYS. To do this, we need boats to sign up so we can see how the results pan out. This is an ideal handicap for those boats that currently only race on PHS. It’s low cost and simple to get especially if you have a production boat. Use this LINK for information and online application.

Rules Session:
We will be running a rules session in August (Date TBC) that will be run on a Saturday morning 0930 -1100 before racing. This is a must-attend event for all racers with specific emphasis on the basics and what changes have been implemented. The event will be open to all RMYS members and a registration page will be set up on the website. We will announce the date as soon as we can and provide more information then. This event will be held on a Saturday morning before racing.

Volunteers: help is still needed.

Check out our Volunteer page to see what it’s all about… the club needs you.
