Juniors Quest Fleet

No training this week as the Napier Cup was held instead. It was good to see so many Juniors able to come along and experience skippering a keel boat, most for the first time. We had 5 boats put themselves forward
Salamander III – Jye & Carli Preston (Monica Jones) 1st place
Buck Ryan Savage & Max Herriot (Ron Brown) 5th place
Take Five – Alex Ward (Jurgen Pfeiffer) 3rd place
Hot Shot – Oli Skerritt (Michael Rigatto) 4th place
Espresso – Lachy Skerritt & Myra Barber (Steve Thompson) 2nd place

Also a big thank you to Graeme Savage for organizing the teams and the parents that came along to help

Next training session Sunday 25th April

Volunteers: help is still needed.

We have a core group that do the heavy lifting. A successful club relies heavily on its members to help out. This is call out for more of you to take up the challenge of running races. It’s fun rewarding and not that difficult. Put your hand up to do some time in the tower or on the water and learn the ropes with the aim of getting your club Race Officer qualification. You will be under the watchful eye of some very qualified and experienced volunteers and RO’s so you will be in great hands. So it does not matter what membership category you hold, be it social, Sailing, Senior or junior join in.

Any questions please email Colin on
