Unfortunately with a 22 knot northerly gusting at 35, the junior racing squad didn’t get out on the water on Sunday.

Despite the circumstances, we had a really great turnout and would have had five quests out on the water again.

Not all was lost with Pat taking a theory session and new parents having a tour of the marina and facilities.

The junior racing squad management group had a very productive meeting during the week resulting in exciting plans to make RMYS a hub of junior racing in Victoria with RS Quests as our platform.

With growing junior members we’re looking to build a strong formalized and structured intra club racing program that will build skills, enthusiasm, competition, and participation that we believe will attract new junior members and their families that will ultimately benefit the greater RMYS membership.

As always thankyou RMYS members for your support of the junior racing squad.
