The long weekend is over which means so is the Festival Of sails for another year. The Regatta was again a great success with a fantastic representation of boats from RMYS.

With nice weather the teams got some good racing in over the event which started off with the passage race on Friday. The winds were light , sea flat and sun was out. The gun went of at 0930 and they were off, a spectacular sight with the ocean a wash with colour. Many of our boats were in the leading bunch as they headed to Geelong. RGYC did a great job as usual with the shore side entertainment which I have heard many a RMYS crew participated in. RMYS also helped with shore fun putting on a Dinner the night before and a BBQ breakfast the morning of  the passage race which was an over whelming success. We will be doing that again next year.

The full race results can be seen at RESULTS.
