Start Sailing 1
Your Discover Sailing journey starts here as you learn the fundamental skills of sailing and are introduced to the fun of dinghy sailing in a safe and supportive environment. This course is aimed at the first time sailor, or a keelboat sailor converting to dinghies. Our Course fee includes textbook, logbook, course certificate & PFD with wetsuit hire available. Duration: 12 hours (4 x 3 hour sessions).
Cost: $298 per person
(Minimum age 12 years)

Start Sailing 2
Your Discover Sailing journey continues as you master all of the fundamental dinghy sailing skills. You will be equipped to sail your dinghy on your own voyages of discovery outside of the St.Kilda harbour on Port Phillip. This course is aimed at sailors who have completed Start Sailing 1, or have some sailing experience.Course fee includes textbook & logbook (if new to the Dinghy Scheme), course certificate & PFD with wetsuit hire available. Duration: 12 hours (4 x 3 hour sessions).

Better Sailing
Discover Sailing in stronger winds as you develop the skills required to get maximum speed from your dinghy. Your journey speeds up as you experience the thrill of using a spinnaker for downwind sailing, and practice better control of your boat. This course is aimed at sailors who have completed Start Sailing 1 and 2, or who have more sailing experience.Course fee includes textbook & logbook (if new to the Dinghy Scheme), course certificate & PFD with wetsuit hire available.
Duration: 12 hours (4 x 3 hour sessions).
