Well, another week of lockdown has passed and as we all know by now it has been extended until 23 September, so unfortunately, no great sailing news to pass on. This is a good opportunity to make sure your paperwork has been handed into the office (emailed) and to tidy up your Top Yacht account (if you are a racer). Make sure all your boat details and next of kin (both name and number) are right. It is also a great time to get your crew to update their details and next of kin.
Summer Season 2021/2022: This is fast approaching and the NOR will soon be published. There are a few changes this season from last so please make sure you take a good look at the schedules. Race entry will be open later in September and as usual is done via the website.
Online Racing: This weeks race will take place Thursday 2nd at 1200 hrs. For those that would like to get involved please see details and registration via this LINK. Check last weeks results HERE.
Spring Series: With the extension of the lockdown, this series looks like it will not happen. If/when we do come out of lockdown we will hold races as standalone events.
H Mark: We replaced our “H” Mark with a larger buoy on Friday. It has a lantern with the same light sequence as before. This was done due to an upgrade as required by Parks Victoria.
Upcoming RMYS racing
With the current COVID situation and lockdown, all on water and face to face events will not go ahead. We will keep you informed once we know when we can get back on the water.
Online Racing 2nd September 8th September 15th September 22nd September
