Having been raised from her grave on a swing mooring at Williamstown, she was trailered down to a farm where the hull was repaired. After a re-naming ceremony, where libations were offered to Poseidon and appropriate spells cast, she was re-launched in August at RGYC for a complete fit-out.

Oh what excitement, when we called for a radio check to Marine Radio Vic to get a reply “5 x 5”!

The electrics work!

Checking out the old sails, we found she had been a Squadron boat “Seabreeze” S170, but don’t have a record of her owner then. Her commissioning run had her sail to QCYC, back to Portarlington & Geelong in company with ‘Mrs Overnewton’ & ‘Obsession’ before a fast ride to her new home at the Squadron.

She’s now satisfactorily equipped to 5N, and as a weekender, and I intend to make her available to others, who want a bit of practice, take her out.
