Safety Boat Operator course

The Safety Boat Operator course includes a Friday evening theory session from 5pm – 9pm and a full day practical session on Saturday 9am – 5pm.

The Safety Boat Operator course provides the skills needed to support water based activities at the Club and focuses on race course design and on-water rescue methods for dinghies. The prerequisite for this course is that you are water confident and have the skills and knowledge gained in Powerboat Handling or the equivalent power boating experience from personal boating.

Course Cost:

Non-members $350

RMYS Members $262.5 (use code Member2023 when registering)

RMYS Volunteers Free of charge (use code VOL2023 when registering)
