Thanks to our member Peter Coulter (owner of Bellman), RMYS now has two more reciprocal clubs for the benefit of members.
Royal Natal Yacht Club is located in Durban, South Africa, and was constituted in 1858, making it the oldest yacht club in Africa. Racing is conducted for keelboats and dinghies of various classes. The clubhouse has a beautiful view of Durban harbour and the city, and offers both formal and more relaxed dining.
For more information, see their website: http://rnyc.org.za/
Royal Southern Yacht Club is located in Hamble, England (near Southampton), and was established in 1837. The club conducts racing for keelboats and dinghies as well. The club also features elegant accommodation, with 11 rooms of various configurations available. This would be an ideal place to stay for Cowes Week (if available) or any of the other sailing regattas in the Southampton area.

As always, if you wish to visit these clubs or any other reciprocal club, please ask the RMYS office for a letter of introduction.
