Wednesday 29 July
Race 8 of the Morse Air Systems Midweek Mariners was held in 10-18 knot northerlies.
The prizes were well and truly shared around this week, with Seaya taking home 1st place on PHS, Vagrant claiming AMS, Astarte winning the Half Ton Challenge and Mrs Overnewton taking home the bottle of wine for best start on 0 seconds. Espresso also got a look in with the Mountain Goat of the Day for beginning to sail course Red + 6, when they should have sailed Green + 6.
If you are planning on entering the spinnaker series, please do so in the next week to ensure we have sufficient numbers to go ahead. If you enter the spinnaker series you will be removed from the non-spinnaker series.
Saturday 1 August
Race 6 of the Regis JH McDonald had light breezes between 5-7 knots from the southwest.
Tigris had a cracker of a day, taking home both 1st place on PHS and best start on 2 seconds.
Their prizes were presented to them by sponsor Greg Briggs from Regis Aged Care.
