Wednesday 18 March
Sadly the light breeze prevented any boats from finishing the Wednesday twilight race this week, and so no prizes were awarded for finishing places. However, the boat with the best start was Spirit V on 0 seconds.
Tomorrow is the final twilight race of the season - don't miss it!
RMYS also ran the final heat of the Krystal Weir Trophy series on Wednesday, within the St Kilda Harbour. This event featured team racing for all-girl teams from various schools. The winner of this heat was Firbank Grammar, beating St Michael's Grammar 3-2.
Saturday 21 March
Thankfully there was plenty more breeze on Saturday to keep competitors entertained. Race Day 6 of the Club Marine Series is traditionally hosted by SYC. It is known as the Keep Cancer at Bay event, with all race fees supporting the children's charity Challenge.
