Race 9 of the Morse Air Systems Midweek Mariners was held in moderate Southwesterly winds.
Akuna Maid won their first RMYS race (with the exception of “The Last Confession” publicity day), whilst Matador took out AMS and Tigris got best start on 1 second.
Mountain Goat of the Day was awarded to Ian Guyett, who on his way here to run the race, tripped down his stairs and injured himself. He was taken to hospital and is scheduled for shoulder surgery this week.
The Bert Watts Trophy (Race 1 in the Charles Marshall Series) was held on Saturday on a laid course in 15 knots of breeze.

Primitive Cool got line honours and first place on IRC, Take Five took out AMS and Bruschetta (SYC) won PHS.
The second race of the Classics was supposed to be held at RMYS on Sunday, but unfortunately it was postponed due to strong winds.
