Our annual lecture series is always a huge success with both female and male sailors, whether you are experienced or inexperienced these are a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge and is open to everyone (including friends and family). We have had excellent guest speakers in the past, giving us insights on all manner of topics. Matt has been sailing keelboats on the bay and beyond, since the age of 10. One of his earliest sailing memories was a return trip from Geelong after Australia Day weekend, the good old southerly buster propelling the Columbia 27 owned by his dad back to St Kilda. Since then, Matt has gone on to sail over 16,000 offshore miles, including the 2014 Vanuatu race, in which he sailed on Jazz Player (Bakewell White Z39) 2 handed, as well as the Sydney and Melbourne-Hobart races, amongst others. |
Dinner is available after the lecture, bookings would be appreciated olympicbar@rmys.com.au
