The Victorian Combined Yacht Clubs Annual ‘Victory Cup’ has been played since 1947. The Cup history shows it has been previously held by RBYC, RGYC, RMYS, MYC and SYC.
Over the years the Victory Cup has been played at varying golf clubs and participants having always enjoyed a great social day of golf, meeting or catching up with members from other yachts clubs.

More recently and again this year the Victory Cup will be played on Friday 21 November at the renowned sandbelt course ‘Woodlands’. Woodlands Golf Club is ranked 5th in Melbourne and 12th in Australia by Golf Australia magazine. The Victory Cup gives you the opportunity to play this fantastic course with some of your friends and at a perfect time of the year.
An 18 hole Stableford event, there will be prizes for best club, best score, closest to the pin, longest drive and more! With no limit on entries per club - best six scores from each club will be combined to take home the Victory Cup.
The day will start at 11.30 with a light lunch before teeing off from 12 noon. Upon completion of the round there will be light snacks in the clubhouse for the presentation of the Victory Cup. With SYC currently holding the cup there are already plenty of participants looking to get it back in 2014!
The cost of entry is $50 per person for golf, light lunch and post round snacks. Men and Ladies are welcome.
