Our first Discover Sailing Day for the season is on 26 October. The whole club is open to the public, we will also have tours of the Squadron and the new 250 berth floating marina.
Come and join us for a free sail on a keelboat or off-the-beach dinghy sailing. Adults and Children are welcome, to book your sail, contact 9534 0227 or email email@example.com
Bookings are essential.
Why not come and enjoy a relaxed BBQ, or have a drink on the balcony while overlooking St Kilda Pier and Port Phillip.
Can't make it on Discover Sailing Day?
Why not come down for a twilight race on Wednesdays during daylight savings? Be at the club by 4:30, add your name to the board in the Olympic Bar and get ready for the perfect mid-week break!
During winter, we race on a Wednesday afternoons, and you'll need to arrive by midday. We also race most Saturdays, but the start times vary from week to week, so those interested should call the office on 9534 0227 to check the start time for the week ahead.
For the cost of $20 you will receive your first Day Pass. This enables you to enjoy a trip out on one of the regularly raced keelboats, as well as the use of the club facilities when you return to shore. Come in and have a drink and some dinner after the race as you bond with the rest of the crew. You can sail for up to six times for $20 each, and then a further six times for $25 each. If you then decide to join RMYS, the money you've paid for your Day Passes is counted towards your first year of membership.
If you're coming down with more than four people, please give the friendly office staff a call so they can ensure there are enough places available on one of the racing boats.
What to wear?
Warm clothing, a waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes with non-marking soles (white is best). Ensure you take along some water, sunscreen and a hat or beanie.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office on 9534 0227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
