The AWKR Lecture Series is open to everyone and is free to attend. This week we have lecture 4 with Gavin Dagley.
Each lecture starts at 7pm in the Harbour Room and will run for approximately 1 hour Admission is free and open to all.
Raffles will be run during the lecture series to raise money for Sailors with Disabilities, so please don't forget your small change.
An informal dinner is as available at the Squadron before each lecture. If you would like to have a meal at the squadron bookings are appreciated to firstname.lastname@example.org

Strategy: The No-Brainer Race
Gavin is a registered psychologist and works as an executive coach. He completed his PhD studying athlete career development and sport psychology.
He has coached for more than 20 years across the spectrum of racing, from junior club sailors through to world champions and has also had articles on the technical aspects of sailing published in the US based sailing magazine; Sail World.
During his sailing career he has had 20 podium finishes at National Championships as well as 4 top-ten finishes at 8 world championships, not to mention the 10,000 ocean miles including helming the Melbourne to Hobart, Melbourne to Port Fairy and Melbourne to Stanley races.
Gavin has also won a Yachting Victoria award for Contribution to Yachting and Coaching Program of the Year. .
