New event facilities with catering by food&desire.

Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron is located on the waterfront at St.Kilda and has uninterrupted views over Port Phillip from the Harbour Room and the balcony.

The Squadron has entered into a long term partnership with renowned Melbourne caterers, food&desire. food&desire operate other venues around Melbourne, including the Carousel at Albert Park.See their wesbite: www.foodanddesire.com.  The renovations of the Squadron clubhouse, completed in September 2008, include a transformation of the Harbour Room and the Members Olympic Bar by architect Chris Connell. Each room is now serviced by a new commercial kitchen constructed on the same level. A passenger new lift has also been installed to service all levels, including the roof top.

The Harbour Room

Committee Room & Library

Committee Room and Library are individual rooms which can be hired for private lunches, celebrations, dinner, cocktail parties and meeting rooms. Both rooms have access to the balcony with views of Port Phillip Bay and St Kilda pier. food&desire can tailor menus creating food&beverage packages to suit your budget.

• Library = $140.00
• Committee Room & Library together = $470.00
• Complimentary room hire applies for Senior members
• food&desire service staff member = $38.00 per hour
• food&desire chef = $38.00 per hour
• Set up and cleaning fee for each room = $120.00

Member facilities
