Victorian Notices 103(T)/2010, 107(T)/2010 (AA499387) Special beacons have been established between Station Pier (37° 50'.71 S 144° 55'.85 E) and St Kilda harbour (37° 51'.70 S 144° 58'.00 E).

An isolated danger light beacon has been established in position 37° 51'.30 S 144° 57'.34 E.

A light beacon, Fl(2)6s, exists in position 37° 52'.33 S 144° 58'.21 E.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.

1150(T)/2010 AUSTRALIA - VICTORIA - Port Phillip - Port Melbourne - River Yarra - Harbour works.

Former Notice 531(T)/2010 is cancelled

Victorian Notice 98/2010 (AA499428)

Works are in progress at West Gate Bridge (37° 49'.77 S 144° 53'.89 E) resulting in a reduction in the permissible air draught of transiting vessels.

Restrictions apply as follows;

Vessels with air draught less than 43.5m no restrictions apply, however notice is to be provided to construction crew.Incoming vessels report to Melbourne VTS on passing breakwater pier an departing vessels report to Melbourne VTS on departing from berths upstream of the West Gate Bridge.

Vessels with air draught 43.5m to 49.0m are permitted to transit subject to evacuation of all personnel from platform.Incoming vessels report to Melbourne VTS 30 minutes prior to arrival Fawkner beacon and departing vessels report to Melbourne VTS 30 minutes prior to departing from berths upstream of the West Gate Bridge.

Vessels with air draught greater than 49.0m are permitted to transit, however notice is to be provided to the platform master to retract the platform.Incoming vessels report to Melbourne VTS after rounding Hovell pile and departing vessels report to Melbourne VTS 2 hours prior to departing from berths upstream of the West Gate Bridge.

Melbourne VTS will relay the notice to the West Gate Bridge platform master.
